Michael Rosenbaum
Michael Rosenbaum President Rosenbaum Advisors, Inc.
Michael Rosenbaum has established a 20-year track record of results and client satisfaction by delivering effective counsel and communications to more than 150 public and private firms. He has advised both Fortune 500 and start-up enterprises on issues from initial public offerings to investor relations, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcy, proxy, strategic planning, media relations and crisis.
Rosenbaum is well regarded for his ability to analyze complex business issues and develop affordable, workable solutions. His clients rely on him for results that accommodate both budgets and deadlines. Recent assignments have included: investor positioning for a rapidly growing public company, obtaining casino sponsorship from a Chicago suburb, strategic planning for a non-profit; and crisis communication for a financial institution. For all of these clients, and others, Rosenbaum and his colleagues have delivered measurable results and a substantial return on client investment.
Rosenbaum has authored three business texts:
• Board Perspectives: Building Value Through Investor Relations, 2004, CCH; • The Governance Game, 2003, Aspatore, (co-authored with Marilyn Seymann) and • Selling Your Story to Wall Street: The Art & Science of Investor Relations, 1994, McGraw-Hill.
Currently, he is developing a series of governance texts for CCH. In addition to these texts, he is widely published on investor relations, corporate governance and management issues and is a frequent speaker on business topics.
After several years as a business reporter and editor, Rosenbaum joined The Financial Relations Board, Inc. as a senior associate in 1983 and was named president in 1997. He continued with the company after its sale to a publicly-traded advertising holding company in 1999 and launched Rosenbaum Advisors in 2002.
